Hi, I'm Quinn (aka QuinnTessents). Nice to meet you. I'd like to call myself an intellectual, a person who has a more than adequate amount of experience for a person her age, and a good friend. I spend most of my time thinking, smoking marihuana, learning, reading, talking, sleeping, going to shows, and smoking hookah, in that order.
I like long walks on the beach at night (that's actually not a joke, figured I'd inject some dry humor into this profile). I like playing music, listening to music, analyzing lyrics, words, speeches, quotes, etc. I like lying on top of the Taco House's roof (in Brooklyn) and looking up at the stars with my husband in an un-sobered daze. I like running into the circle pits with my friends, screaming in the streets like a macho man, and kicking walls with my steel toe boots for the sole purpose of listening to the sound and seeing how long I can go before I can't hold my big toe away from the steel part of the boot anymore. And I like being heard, but I love being understood.

Me pasan la mayor parte de mi tiempo de pensar, fumar marihuana, aprendizaje, lectura, hablar, dormir, ir a espectáculos, y el hábito de fumar narguile, en ese orden.
Me gusta largos paseos por la playa por la noche (que en realidad no es una broma, me imaginé que inyectar humor seco en este perfil). Me gusta correr en el círculo de hoyos con mis amigos, gritando en las calles como un hombre macho, y patear las paredes con mi dedo del pie botas de acero con el único propósito de escuchar el sonido y ver cuánto tiempo puedo ir antes de que yo no puede celebrar mi dedo gordo del pie fuera del acero de la parte de arranque más. Y me gusta ser oída, pero me encanta ser entendido.

Granted, her stance has changed considerably since she started considering a run for presidency, but initially she always voted for unconditional war spending, opposed bans on land mines and cluster bombs, condoned torture, attacked Amnesty International for being "unpatriotic," opposes the Geneva Convention (!), supports building a wall along the West Bank, etc. etc.
She usually deflects criticism by saying that she voted that way because of the (bad) information that was available, but would still make the same decision today. (wtf?) Seriously Hillary, if half the American people knew the information was bullshit, I find it hard to believe that any member of Congress was actually fooled. And regardless, the bad info does not justify violating the UN Charter and the US Constitution.
She really frightens me.
But even more frightening is that she may be the best choice we have.
Gotta love the two-party system....
I noticed that you're supporting Hillary this year and I felt compelled to comment....
I have a lot of problems with her-- she's been wishy-washy about reproductive rights over the last few years, big war supporter initially, etc.
But the real clincher for me is that I just can't in good conscience vote a member of the Wal-Mart Board of Directors into the most powerful position in the world.
Not that I'm a big supporter of the competition either....
Just some food for thought.
