- Iam me hmmm...I am a girl, a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mama. I've always been surrounded by strong women and encouraged to be strong by a cool dad....I have a college degree in philosophy and sociology.....I didn't plan on being a mama but now that I am I love it and I have 5 yes 5 beautiful kids. Because of them I am even more interested in women's rights so they can go in to the world prepared...my boys knowing how to respect and love strong women and my girls knowing how to be strong women. I love music . I play drums. I love to read. I like art, especially old circus posters. I am a total idiot when it comes to the computer but think it rocks that you can come together and talk to peope that have similar intrests, My son Felix was recently diagnosed with Lukemia and that has been crazy....but I have a whole new appreciation for moms who support their sick kids because they are superheros.....It takes alot to remember a billion meds and doc. appointments....So thats a little bit about me. My daughter Cella picked out the photo because she is super into girl superheros right now, which is a nice turn from the icky princesses...She really likes wonder women because she can beat the boys....so wonderwomen it is..

Thanks for your nice comment. I didn't read much philosophy recently, but I'm now trying to introduce myself to the world of Judith Butler. It's a little bit difficult to understand it sometimes. Whom I really like are Deleuze and Guattari and their rhizom theory, as well as my beloved Nietzsche, though his thoughts about women are quite outmoded. :) Whom do you like?
You probably mean Heidelberg. Lots of people from the US are living there. There is an army base somewhere near it, I think. But I'm living in the North-West of Germany. Heidelberg is more in the South. Where do you live?

One of those bands I'll listen to everyday for a few weeks then not bother with them for months after.
Right now I'm reading the sequel to 'A million little pieces' by James Frey, its called 'My Friend Leonard' his books are amazing.
That and the pin up collection by Gil Elvgren, its mor epictures than words but good none the less.

I've nearly finished the first issue =] i'll let everyone know when it's completed..i'm just waiting for some replies of interviews with some grrrl bands I've got in contact with.
The neighbour's cat is doing really well =] it's gaining weight and it seems alot more friendly than before and not so scared and on edge.
How are you doing, what have you been up to??
