So... what would make this world a better place?

Me, I'm voting for a phsyical inability to carry knives unless you're in a kitchen, and also for a greater variety of cookie cutter shapes. I want biscuits shaped like palm trees, please...

I agree with this too..half the time when people are gossiping, it's only jealousy anyway..but sensitive people can really lose their self confidence/esteem..and those sort of things are hard to attain back..
UGH and being polite..I wish there was such a thing anymore ^_^

Hi, I'm really tired right now..been having a tough time lately..but I really like this topic, and I love reading everyone's responses.
I agree that people, women in particular, should be allowed legally to carry knives outside of the home for the use of protection..I know alot of us do..but we shouldn't get in trouble when we get caught out (I have an ankle garter that I wear under my boot with a blade attached..but sssshhhh ^_^ . )
I would wish for men to have more respect for women, in terms of them not looking at us and thinking of sex, and maybe looking at our face first, and not our rack.
I would also wish for gay rights, in every city, in every state, in every country. Think about it. What good really is banning gay marriages - people cannot change their sexual orientation, it's not something you can switch. Why can't we respect peacefully people's lifestyles in which they have no choice over?? Why be mad to feel bad for wanting to make a committment to your partner, your soulmate..even if it's of the same sex??

I also like the middle brownie pieces, maybe that's what we need to make the world a better place - tolerance of people's brownie piece selection? Tolerance in general would be nice, there's enough brownie to go around, and not everyone likes the same parts. So lets all just share and be aware of the fact that we are all in this thing together.

I think people need to become more open to new things, and the way to this is through learning. So I think if everyone was open to learning and not just spoon-fed their ideas by the patriarchal hegemoney the world would become better.

And the abolition of money, religion, and property would help with this I think.

(By religion I just mean organised religion, not spirituality).

Hey now..I'm thinking if kids were taught martial arts and learned it's discipline in kindegarten and continued through high school, it would change some minds.

Hell yeah, what's with all the animal discrimination on this planet? Why shouldn't you be able to ride your horse to work? I work at a supermarket and this guy always comes in with his parrot, because the parrot gets lonely if he's home on his own. Now my manager's all like "no animals in the store!". Not cool. And maybe I missed a science lesson somewhere but I'm pretty sure we're animals too. I know I'm not a plant... or a fungus.
