idk, im sure you're talented at something!! maybe its just not anything you can see...maybe its like, being a good friend, or just being able to be someone to talk to.
I'm sure you could write something if you get enough motivation. When I wrote that, i got really inspired and, like it says in the post, really "validated" by what kathleen hanna was saying. ( she's my hero) And that's, I think, the best part about art. You can do something and take it, and make it your own so you can be like "it's ugly, but that's what it's supposed to be" you know?

As far as music goes... I wasn't ever really a fan of the beatles anyway. my ex-boyfriend ruined them, and I wasn't too big on them before him, either.
High school musical... gack! I have a friend who's into that shit. As much as I am all for, like, doing your own thing... High School Musical bothers me.

It's pretty hard do stuff though, I agree, many people feel there is no need for it anymore which bugs me. I can't stand sexism either which makes school so hard, it's really disgusting how many boys still have a misogynistic seed planted in their head. Sorry for that rant!
