Hey I'm Faris and I'm new to this website. I've been a "Riot Boy" since 1995 and have never strayed. It was 1995 and I was just another confused teenager looking for a place to belong. I happened to come across a band named Bikini Kill, listened to "The CD version of the first Two Records", and completely fell head over heels for Bikini Kill, Kathleen Hanna, and pretty much anything related to the Riot Grrrl movement at the time. Unfortunately, as a 14 year old boy going through puberty I guess I was a little ahead of my time and therefore did not have a single friend I can relate to and share my new passion with. This has been a VERY common theme in my life since 1995, finding people that share my passions in life, so I am trying this whole internet thing as an option.
Due to college and a sucky military obligation it has been really hard to keep up with good music the past five years or so. I am still stuck in the late 90's and desperately need some like minded individuals to befriend and associate with. I'm a simple fella with no hidden agendas, and I promise to build up my page and list more about me as time goes on. Thanx for listening people!
