I think "macho' is not quite the best word for it..but it describes the general reason: patriarchy. It's all about power and control which is associated with being manly. And that is the big cop-out! It's not necessarily that men are unbalanced......

I'm checking this out. I've been into Riot Grrrl for roughly 10 years since I saw the move 10 Things I Hate About You. Recently, I've been very busy because my mom had a stroke and I had to relocate so I'm helping to care for her. I used to work at a Domestic Violence shelter as the Latina Caseworker. I kinda miss that job. :(
At the moment I'm very interested in internet marketing. I am hoping that I can make some money with it. *crosses fingers*
What else? I have 2 cats named Doki and Leila and a dog named Snowy. I am also a ghost hunter in my spare time and am trying to make a site for it. I'm very chatty, so if you feel like talking just hit me up!
