Very sorry about the late reply to your message! I haven't been on here in a while... Yes.. I love poetry, I'm not ashamed! :)
I tend to go by the poem, rather than the poet, but I love Spike Milligan's poetry when I'm in a silly mood.. He was the person who got me interested in poetry in the first place.. My grandad had a poetry book of his and I just read it over and over again when I was really young. I love Blake though and some of the romantic period writers such as Keats. Anyone though really! Like I said, I go by the individual poem really.. Zephania writes some fun poetry also :)

I am the one who got away, strong mind gets tougher by the day,
In search of love to heal myself.
Rejecting pictures from the past, embrace the things I painted black,
Is this enough to cure myself?

Simply a book upon my shelf.

Are some Feminists selective as to whom they defend?
For me there are not particularly any "guidlines" or 'specifications" for defending women who have been treated inequitably. I have noticed recently, however, that many feminists seem to pick and choose which victims of sexism to defend. To me this is a bit nonsensical. Any woman that has been exploited, be it media, or any other contributing factor should be represented equally by feminists.
