My main influences are riot grrrl bands (of course haha). My most fave bands though are Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, Babes In Toyland, Heavens To Betsy, Sonic Youth, 7 Year Bitch, CocoRosie, Hole, Nirvana, Huggy Bear, etc. =^.^= I would love to jam with you!! I play guitar and I can play keyboards too.

- My name is Flea. I'm opinionated, passionate, and have a lust for life and for knowledge. I'm currently studying Sociology and Psychology at the University of Queensland. I'm doing so because I wan't to learn as much as I can about how humans and societies work so I can make this planet a better place for us all to exist.

- I like to read books about the creation and operation of the universe, black holes are cool. I also love to read novels, at the moment I'm seeking out as many Australian authors as I can because I feel we are under-represented in our own country when it comes to art and culture.
I like skateboarding and rollerskating. Next week I'm going to my first Roller Derby! Soooo excited! I also like indoor rock climbing but haven't done it in quite a while.
I love music, whether it be punk, regaee, folk, pop, electronica, metal, jazz, whatever. As long as it has some heart to it, no manufactured Top 40 stuff for me. I play the guitar and the flute, and hope to be putting together a new band soon, something punk/folk perhaps?
I'm very interested in politics and social issues. I'm a feminist and I'm not afraid to identify as one, unfortunately a lot of grrls and womyn are these days due to the stereotype of a feminist as a man hating, angry lesbian. Unfortunately the creation of this stereotype benifits the patriarchy grrls!
