i am currently the layout artist for a zine that i co-edit and write with a friend. its called hoax. and the first issue is about relationships. it is 36 pages, set to be printed in late august and is all over the place with writings and art about riot grrrl, women's studies, personal issues, anarcha-feminism, queer issues, race & ethnicity, class struggle and other topics. if you want more info about it, please e-mail me! hoaxzine@gmail.com. Hey,
I was reading that a few people had asked for suggestions so thought I'd post about some of the content in my local feminist collective ROAR zine. This one is in the lead up to Reclaim the Night so has ads for that and some articles relating to sexual violence towards women but also interviews with members off the group around various issues from prostitution to shaving (one to three sentence responses), group photos at activities/socials, a receipe or two, articles to keep you angry:), poems about personal experience, rants posted on the internet, photos of spray ups.All the ideas so far sound great. Im really into collage and would love to dedicate a zine to that.

It's great to see such a passion for zines on here!I used to do a zine called 'Hot Milky Drink' but life kinda took me away from it.I'd love to get hold of some of your zines people!Is there a kind of zine listing thing on here so everyone can advertise their zines with prices etc?So then people who don't actually make zines themselves can join in the action and get into it!

I just finished reading a book on the history of women comics and zines, something I picked up because I've been trying to throw together a zine for myself. Any help and suggestions would be great.

As yet, I do not have a zine.
After I have completed my online project x, I am planning to get onto writing a zine about mental health disorders in life, teenagers, in music scenes, etc.. Topics incl; getting help, signs and symptoms, natural therapies and non drug forms of recovery.
How to help a friend in need and more.
Any suggestions?
