Comment by Diana on March 24, 2008 at 1:00am: I totally understand and know how it feels to work at a place where is male dominated, not only male dominated but most of the guys that i used to work with where in HOUSE ARREST and PROBATION.
I used to work at an agency unloading/loading boxes. Some of them were 20 pounds each or less can be a bitch to pick each one of the and stack them up and wrapped them. They were a african American males just making comments that I was sexy or cute or not strong enough to handle my job. So of course I got pissed off and show them that I was not going to quit. I was acting like one of them ghetto style plus I told them that I was a killer dyke. This went on for about a year until i got laidoff. After a few months we all became good friends they respected me after. I had to work hard to earn my respect though. This experience I will never forget.
