The way i see it. Everyone should be able to "be" with who ever they want even if that means being with 0, 1, 6 or 20 people in a week as long as no one gets hurt in the process and there's no infidelity going on.

"be" meaning "one night fling", "relationship", whatever.

On a week long school trip earlier this year i found out just how sexist some of my classmates were (male and female). One night all 68 of us went out to a club and i made out with a guy i met there making it clear to him that i didnt want anything serious. The same night a boy from our class made out with 3 girls .
The boy from my class got "congrats" from all the guys and girls. No one liked that i'd made out with a guy, though i'd done nothing indecent and had done it in private. I was called whore by some classmates.

Excuse me,but i dont think i was stood on the corner offerin myself for 70 quid (something i think is for each individual to classify as right or wrong. personally i think if that's what someone wants to do then, whatever). I met a guy, we liked each other and we both had a good time and were respectful to each other.

I've made a point to myself not to use the word "slut" or "whore" or "prostitute" as an insult as the definition "promiscuous woman" is rarely seen as an insult when put in the masculine form.

There's a double standard - when girls fuck/flirt/make-out with a lot with different guys (hell, even with one guy & it doesn't even have to be sex) they're labeled a slut, when guy's fuck a lot they're labeled a 'player.'

The former is meant to demean, the latter is congratulatory.

"Slut" isn't really applied to guys, and if it is its applied in a cheeky/satirical manner 'you man slut!'

I've mainly being called a slut by other girls (in a demeaning manner - me & my friends call each other slut in a joking manner, which is fine IMO). I'm guessing because they're jealous or have puritan/conservative standards.

Not much else you can do apart from tell those specific people how it makes you feel & how it also demeans them as women (if indeed, they are female), and if they don't listen then just hold your head high & choose your own path.

i have a friend who goes with alot of guys that just want to fuck around and i reckon shes too naive in the situation. they always just use her and leave and she usually gets attached to them.

shame for your friend. the whole point is that she have the liberty to go with as many guys as she wants even if she is wrong when it comes to judging their character. guys date idiot girls all the time. haha

Women can do it. They just get judged for it. I've definitely been called a whore (and if so, why the hell didn't I get paid? I could've used the extra money), slut, etc. for my actions, regardless of what they were. Whether it was me kissing a male and/or female, bending over and mooning someone, or even deciding to have sex with someone. People have been brought up to think that way and don't have the personal responsibility to use the freedom of thought they so randomly like to throw out when someone else badgers their opinion.

Cest la vie. You're going to be judged, no matter what you do. As long as what you're doing makes you happy, by all means, do it.
