Sure, all the grrrl classics are great, but there's something I've noticed about this and many female centered music forums:
People rarely discuss any new bands. There's a veritable smorgasbord of decent female bands out there but they seldom get mentioned (apart from that thread that Laura started - but it died out pretty quickly).
As someone who is in a band, I'm always looking for new music to be inspired by and get into.
Hit me with some thoughts - it's all about sharing.

i have this band www.myspace.com/deadbypregnancy we are currently recording a homemade demo but we have a few live/demo songs online, im curious about what you think of the band.
do you know any local bands from your area? we can try to get demos of our local riot grrrl bands and share among this comunity!

Check out my band The Loosies. We are a 3 piece grrrl band from Dallas. Influences range from Bikini kill to Hole... We have free music for download... as well as FREE t shirts and cds, stickers and buttons. We keep it DIY all the way!
