I've been online for the last hour now, reading about people's opinions on women and armpit hair. It horrifies me when I read women's comments on their hatred of their body hair! All these comments saying 'Ew how disgusting' and 'It's okay for guys to have hair, but girls ought to be hairless from the neck down...' What the hell!?
I've quit shaving again and am getting comfortable with the idea of having hair on my body, even my crooked snail trail! Plus, I really love having hair under my arms...
i think that its totally normal for a woman to have body hair, i personaly dont like it's i find its more comfertable to shave i dont care about armpit or leg hair but i really dont like having pubic hair. i find it uncomfertable. i wish i could grow it, it would make my life a lot easier
I bleached the peach fuzz on my stomach once! I have a faint snail trail and still have a hard time accepting it, but I'm slowly getting comfortable with the fact that I have peach fuzz all over and that it just happens to be a little darker around my navel area.
As a male,I'd like to add my opinion to this. 'Society',ie the media, has made body hair on women seem 'unattractive'. People, especially in the US,have this preconceived notion of what is attractive or 'normal' for a woman when it pertains to body hair. The less body hair a female has,the more attractive she is,or so the thought goes. Personally,I have no problem with a woman that allows her armpit hair to grow,or her legs,as long as it's kept neat and clean. As for the pubic region, I prefer a woman with neatly trimmed hair. The 1970's-style of overgrown wildness is a little too much for me. Body hair is a personal preference, and I have a beard and moustache that I try to keep trimmed, but if my significant other would prefer me clean-shaven,I'd have no problem doing it.
